The Department of National Planning and Monitoring has several projects and programs under each units. The projects are benefited by many Papua New Guineans.
National Authorizing Officer Support Unit
NAOSU provides a vital role in supporting the Office of the NAO in performing its function in oversight and management of the EDF in the country. The Minister for the Department of National Planning & Monitoring is the National Authorizing Officer (NAO).
PNG Connect
Support the sustainable socioeconomic development, national cohesion and unity, by connecting the four regions of Papua New Guinea; through an improved key economic road transport network connectivity to enhance the delivery of goods and services
Open Government Partnership
It is a fast-growing Global Organisation with countries all over the world who thinks that through the OGP Process their governments can promote greater transparency, accountability, integrity, and being more responsive to citizens’ needs.
Nutrition
Build a central data repository which will store country specific nutrition-sensitive and nutrition-specific data. Information stored in the data repository would be shared with stakeholders to help with decision making and aid in directing resources to critical areas within the nutrition space to maximize impact.
WaSH
WaSH Program Management Unit (WaSH PMU) was established within Department of National Planning and Monitoring (DNPM) to support and coordinate implementation of the policy with the purpose of establishing a National Water, Sanitation and Hygiene Authority (NWSHA).
